Senior Officer, Trust & Corporate Governance

Our client has a new vacancy for a Senior Officer to join their Technical Trust and Corporate Governance team. The successful applicant will provide a pro-active and efficient Statutory function within the Trust business (Private Client Trust), this will include company formations in different jurisdictions, maintenance of statutory records; dissolution and liquidation of companies; preparation, recording/reviewing all fiduciary decisions made by the business (all client related company and trustee minutes).

Key Requirements

Excellent knowledge of Trust Law and Company Law in offshore jurisdictions in order to understand and carry out Statutory functions (Jersey, Guernsey and BVI)
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations in a proactive manner
Ability to work as a team, yet at the same time using own initiative
Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with external and internal stakeholders
Familiar with and proficient with IT programmes such as Word/Excel/Lotus Notes/CHS/Jobstream (or equivalent)


Hold or be studying for an internationally recognised professional qualification, ideally an, Associate of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators or Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, or proven experience of trust/company administration with basic accounting knowledge
