Based in Jersey, the successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of work to a diverse range of clients including Channel Island and UK based corporates, private clients, and entrepreneurs. On a day-to-day basis, this will include advising on tax structures, including
inward investment into the UK and Europe; ad-hoc advisory assignments including due-diligence support; compliance services; dealing with incoming correspondence from tax authorities; supporting the audit department in the audit of tax; and business development.
Candidates should be interested in being all-round business advisers who enjoy working closely with clients to provide them with a pro-active service giving them innovative and commercial tax solutions. You will be self-motivated, able to work to tight deadlines, have excellent interpersonal skills together with an ability and interest in understanding your clients' business. Ideally you will have UK and Jersey tax experience especially property tax and either hold the CTA qualification, or have a willingness to undertake a professional tax qualification.
