The role holder will work closely with operational managers, the engineering team, other members of the ICT team and suppliers to support day-to-day operation of the systems and equipment that our client uses. Additionally, the role holder will be expected to manage the technical aspects of new client take-on and play a role in the development of the technical strategy for on-island services.
Familiar with concepts, management and support of web based applications.
Good understanding of web based API's
Computer networking knowledge: TCP/IP, VPN's, etc.
Agile with SQL based databases and the data they contain.
Familiar with desktop/server operating systems, their deployment and support.
Able to author technical specifications for system enhancements and work with suppliers to implement these on-time and on-budget.
Able to devise system testing plans and manage their execution.
Understand, or be qualified, in the principles of ITIL service management.
