Manager/Assistant Manager - Business Risk & Continuity
Our client has an opening at Manager/Assistant Manager level for someone who has previous Business Continuty Planning experience. Working alongside the Senior Manager and team you will plan and lead with any associated activities to ensure that the all areas of the business have adequate business recovery plans and relevant training in place. You will ensure that any risks are managed and continuous improvements are made to the BCP process across the organisation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Maintain the organisations strategic and incident recovery plans, organisation structure and mass messaging system that holds all employee contact details
Pro-actively lead business units in creating and maintaining departmental specific plans
Plan and conduct staff awareness training
Track the resolution of all BCM control related deficiencies within platform
Conduct business impact analysis surveys across business segments and identify areas of emerging risk
Accurately plan and arrange BCM exercises and tests across the organisation
Respond to BCM related queries and be BCM subject matter expert (SME) on any related projects
Assist in production of MI and Board reporting
Actively engage with local subsidiary boards and line of business leaders to help them ensure up to date, comprehensive and robust BCP plans are in place
You will have pevious experience in a similar role and environment, together with proven experience of identifying opportunities for procedural and process improvements. You will also have strong Interpersonal and networking abilities with a strong focus on collaboration.
