The role of the Group Head of Risk is to manage the Risk Office for the Group. This includes working with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in relation to the management of the Group level risk framework and monitoring of subsidiary risk processes. The Group Head of Risk communicates risk policies and processes for the Group, and develops appropriate risk models.
Experience required should include:
o Experience in developing and implementing a risk framework o Experience in writing and implementing risk related policies o Experience in designing and implementing appropriate controls to mitigate risk and in testing of design and operating effectiveness of controls o Experience in managing risk beyond regulatory / compliance risk; importantly in managing tax risk, fiduciary risk and data risk o Ability to communicate effectively with MDs from across the group on risk profile and risk issues o Experience in delivering training on effective risk management
o Minimum of 10 years working in risk management / compliance o Educated to degree level
