Our client, an innovative investment manager, is seeking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their finance team. The purpose of the position is to support the effectiveness of the accounting function of the multi-jurisdictional Group through the provision of accounting services. The Management Accountant's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintenance of the general ledger for a number of group of companies, ensuring regular bank reconciliation, calculation and posting of intercompany expense recharges and reconciliation of group loans;
Preparation of monthly management accounts, inclusive of key KPIs;
Preparation of budget reporting against actuals with variance analysis and commentary;
Preparation of weekly cash pulse reporting;
Cashflow forecasts and calculation of account funding requirements;
Development of management reporting templates;
Assist with the documentation of finance department procedures;
Monitoring of group portfolio investments; and
To assist with other finance related projects and help to develop and improve processes within the Finance department.
Candidates ideally should be ACCA (or equivalent) qualified, but strong part qualified accountants will also be considered.
