Vice President, Platform & Fund Services

Our client has an exciting opportunity to join the Financial Reporting team.

The Vice President, Platform & Fund Services role will work closely with the Director of Platform & Fund Services, reporting directly into an investment partnership coverage lead. The role is fully involved in supporting investment partnerships, offering significant potential for learning and career growth.

Responsibilities include

  • Oversight and financial control of regulated entities.
  • Managing operational transaction flow, financial control, and NAV production for investment funds structures and related entities.
  • Oversight of third-party fund administrators, including management of period end NAV delivery for various investment funds and related vehicles.
  • Monitoring the performance of Investment Partnerships including cashflow forecasting, financial forecasting, variance analysis, and bespoke business analysis.
  • Driving the valuations process, working closely with the Investment Partnerships to obtain timely information.
  • Financial modelling, reporting, and analysis of Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) structures established and managed by the Group.
  • Financial reporting and analytics for our Senior Leadership Team (SLT), regulated entity boards, and investment fund boards.

Experience & Characteristics Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree and significant experience in finance, accounting, or a related field (professional accounting qualification preferred).
  • Experience dealing with operational and financial control matters for investment funds.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and recommend actions to senior management.
  • Strong communication skills and relationship-building abilities.
  • Capability to drive change and process improvements.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with an excellent work ethic.
  • Sound commercial judgment and ability to understand and align with business strategy.
  • Analytical with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to develop junior members of team.
  • A collaborative team player motivated to contribute to the success of the business.
