Our client has an opportunity for a trainee accountant to join their growing Fund services team.

About the role
- Maintain accurate and up to date accounting records
- Build a detailed understanding of client transactions and regularly seek guidance and feedback from your line manager
- Assist with the preparation of various management accounts and financial reports
- Collate information requested by auditors
- Build and develop relationships with clients, auditors and third party service providers
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure client expectations and deadlines are properly managed
- Assist with the timely resolution of accounting queries, providing explanations and accounting support as and when required
About you - essential requirements
- A desire to study towards a relevant professional qualification
- Being able to build relationships and work as part of a team
- A desire to succeed within a financial services role
- A positive and flexible approach
- Ability to manage and prioritise tasks, time and people in order to meet deadlines
- Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
