Technical Project Manager

Our client is seeking Technology Project Manager to join their growing team. 

You will oversee and manage strategic technology projects, including digital platform integrations and system transformations, within the Group. Leverage project management skills, stakeholder collaboration, and process optimisation to align initiatives with business goals and ensure successful, timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project manage the introduction and integration of new digital solutions to support the Group’s strategic goals, including document management systems, technology process enhancements, CRM systems, security / compliance tooling and other emerging technologies.
  • Drive operational change initiatives, with a primary focus on MS solutions SharePoint, PowerPlatform along with core administration platforms such as Viewpoint, BankClarity, Allvue, and other supporting digital platforms, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Supporting the technology team in curating and improving systems documentation and change processes, promoting continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain essential project documentation, including user guides, updates to Group Policy and Procedures, and other critical project deliverables to ensure consistency and clarity.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with projects, maintaining a dynamic RAIDD (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies, Decisions) log to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation and reporting by maintaining comprehensive project records, including initiation documents, action plans, risk logs, and stakeholder communication plans.

  • A digitally savvy individual who enjoys exploring and leveraging technology to improve work processes, drive efficiencies, and who has a commitment to continuous self-learning.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus at all organisational levels.
  • Experience managing end-to-end implementation of new digital systems and platforms, from concept through to go-live, with a track record of successful delivery.
  • Proficiency in change and project management methodologies, including both waterfall and agile frameworks.
  • Exceptional IT skills, including expertise in Microsoft 365 productivity tools, Microsoft Excel, and PowerBI; experience with other analytics and management information tools is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-pressure environments while maintaining a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Superior organisational and time management abilities, with a proven track record of prioritising tasks and delivering results under tight deadlines.
