Our Client is seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Officer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance to all members of the Compliance team
  • Liaise with colleagues and external parties maintaining strong professional relationships
  • Follow methodologies, internal policies and procedures, identifying risks, pursuing policies and procedures and managing exposure accordingly
  • Identify and report to management any key breaches and failures
  • Undertake computer-based risk reviews on Trust, Company and Fund entities some of which will be part of larger/more complex structures
  • Identify and recommend changes to processes, policies and procedures ensuring compliance is achieved and maintained
  • Review new business applications, taking ownership of the more complex applications
  • Deliver assigned sections of the AML/CFT/CPF Compliance Monitoring Programme maintaining allocated registers
  • Ensure that required knowledge of applicable regulatory developments is up-to-date within the business
  • Specification and independent delivery of compliance projects
  • Preparation of reports as/when required

Key Requirements:

  • Experienced in compliance and regulatory affairs and have a good understanding of Trust, Fund and Company administration
  • Good understanding of relevant and applicable regulation/legislation; being a source of knowledge and expertise to provide guidance and technical support to the business
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Excellent organisational, time management and analytical skills
  • Will ideally hold or will be studying towards a relevant professional qualification (such as STEP or CGI)
  • Excellent attention to detail
