Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Communications Manager (6 month FTC)

Our client are seeking an experienced M&A Communications Manager

This role will provide expert communications counsel and execution support to ensure effective communication to all internal and external stakeholders, driving engagement, clarity, and positive sentiment throughout the M&A process.

Role

  • With the support from the Integration Team and Head of Marketing, develop and execute an integrated communications strategy to support the M&A process across multiple stakeholders, including employees, clients, investors, media, and regulatory bodies.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to align messaging and ensure consistency across all communications.
  •  
  • Create clear and transparent communication plans for employees, addressing key aspects of the acquisition, integration timelines, and any anticipated changes.
  • Lead the development and execution of internal messaging including employee town halls, intranet updates, FAQs and regular newsletters.
  • Establish feedback mechanisms (surveys, focus groups) to gauge employee sentiment and provide actionable insights to leadership and report findings and action plans to respond to feedback.
  • Guided by the Head of Marketing, support the drafting and managing of the release of external communications, including press releases, public statements, and investor relations materials.
  • Support the development of Q&A documents for external stakeholders to address potential questions and concerns.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing communications during M&A, corporate restructuring, or large-scale change management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling messages for diverse audiences.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple locations and time zones.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with senior leadership and to advise on strategic communication initiatives.
  • Confident user of Microsoft 365 tools, in particular SharePoint.
  • Proficient in using data visualisation tools.
