Client Accounts Manager

Our client are seeking a Client Accounts Manager.

To be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Client Accounts Team together with the provision of support to the Trust Administration teams.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Day to day responsibility of own small portfolio of complex clients and provide oversight and assistance with the sub-team’s portfolio of clients to include:
  • The review of financials statements prepared by the Client Accounts Team ensuring adherence to the relevant standards.
  • Ensuring accounts required for client entities administered in Guernsey are prepared internally in accordance with regulatory timeframes.
  • Overseeing the bookkeeping function carried out in Guernsey or outsourced to Malta and ensuring this is completed within agreed timeframes.
  • Work closely with the Head of CRS/FATCA reporting to ensure accurate and timely submission of reporting.
  • Allocation and monitoring of regular and ad hoc client reporting.
  • Liaison with clients and their professional representatives either directly or via the trust administration teams, as required, on accounting related matters of varying levels of complexity.
  • Undertaking quarterly accounts billing of clients.

Skills and qualifications

  • Attainment of a relevant professional qualification, e.g. ACA, ACCA.
  • A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience, 3 of which have been gained in a management capacity.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to relay complex technical information in a comprehensive but concise format.
  • A highly organized and detail-oriented professional.
  • Excellent numeracy and computer skills.
  • A pro-active approach to dealing with the clients’ needs particularly in relation to any new technical developments.
