As part of continued growth, our Client is seeking a Client Accounting Manager to join their Real Estate Funds accounting team.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing the financial reporting platform to ensure best-in-class service delivery to real estate fund clients, so strong system proficiency with Investran and/or Yardi is essential.

You will work closely with the real estate funds administration team to deliver excellent quality financial reporting to a growing portfolio of clients, focusing initially on Jersey Private Funds and their downstream HoldCos, PropCos, and OpCos. With the expected growth of the portfolio, the candidate will be responsible for helping to recruit and develop more junior members of the team, providing line management and mentorship, undertaking a deliverable reviewer role, and taking overall responsibility for the allocation and mapping of team resources to meet ongoing client deliverables.

Requirements:

• Recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, ICAS or other recognised qualification) together with some demonstrated post-qualification experience.
• Excellent real estate specific accounting technical knowledge and skills across a range of asset sub-types, including residential, commercial, and logistics assets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and competent with other Microsoft Office suite of applications.
• Highly proficient with either Investran or Yardi as core accounting systems.
• Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting requirements, and audit approaches.
• Direct experience in preparing financial statements in accordance with FRS 102 and IFRS.
• Understanding of the financial reporting requirements for real estate clients.
• Familiarity with the UK tax reporting environment and experience in preparing or reviewing UK VAT and/or Corporation tax returns.
