Our client is seeking an Sustainability Associate to join their team.
Working from either Jersey or Guernsey, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the internal and client facing sustainability actions. For the first 12 months of this role you will be responsible for the design and adoption of a net zero transition plan which will contribute to the delivery of our global commitments to environmental sustainability.
In this role, you will:
- Use stakeholder management skills to deliver, with the support of colleagues and subject matter experts, a net zero transition plan for the firm.
- Assist in the development of sustainability related products and services consistent with the vision and strategy.
- Ensure high quality client service levels by delivering on client mandates with colleagues to ensure they are delivered effectively to a high standard and meet deadlines.
- Keep abreast of all regulatory changes and industry standards for the purpose of providing relevant products and services.
- In conjunction with the Senior Associate, provide technical advice on products and services to clients.
About you - essential requirements
- Educated to degree level, ideally with at least 3 years' working experience.
- Sound knowledge of and experience in sustainability, and knowledge of the global sustainability frameworks.
- Client focused with an ability to listen and understand clients' needs and consistently exceed their expectations.
- Possess a high level of intellectual rigour with a desire to build and maintain technical skills and expertise.
- Effective presentation skills and the ability to facilitate workshops both internally and externally.
