Our client are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis candidate to join their team.
This is a contract role (12 months) for a Group FP&A Associate supporting the Associate Director, FP&A in the delivery of timely, accurate, and relevant reporting and analytics to senior leadership. The role will be integral in strengthening ongoing reporting and analyses whilst supporting initiatives in the company’s digital transformation programme.
Responsibilities:
- Support the team in the production and delivery of timely and accurate monthly and quarterly management reporting to senior leadership, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and KPI tracking.
- Collaborate closely with Financial Accounting & Control colleagues to ensure accurate cost allocation against budget in Accounting system, to help facilitate efficient onward reporting and analyses.
- Assistance in the delivery of the group’s budgeting and reforecasting processes, in partnership with Budget owners across the Investment Partnerships and Corporate functions.
- Assist with the group’s liquidity monitoring and cash flow forecasting process.
- Maintenance and development of the group wide cost allocation model.
Requirements
- Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 2+ years PQE.
- Experience working in a busy Finance team, preferably with exposure to budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial analysis.
- Strong technical skills with particular proficiency in Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, macros) and experience using Accounting/ERP systems. Working knowledge of SunSystems and data visualisation tools a distinct advantage.
- Strong communicator, comfortable collaborating across departments and interacting with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
- Confident working with large data sets; skilled at extracting value in the form of meaningful information and insightful analysis for presentation to senior leaders.
- Thrives working in a fast paced dynamic environment.
- Superb organisational skills; able to manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines.
- Ambitious self-starter with a can-do attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to demonstrate initiative.
