Acquisition Accountant

Exciting opportunity for a senior accountant to support an acquisition on a 6-month contract!

The successful applicant will support the Finance and Accounting activities for the Acquisition of another organisation and be responsible for day-to-day Acquisition and Project activities. They will also support other Finance related activities as required. 

Essential Requirements:

  • Experienced and professional accounting qualification with a membership of a recognised professional accounting body or with significant hands-on accounting or audit experience.
  • High level of systems, IT and Excel skills.
  • Strong project/time management skills/ Self-motivated and well organised/Able to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to analyse situations effectively and proactively provide solutions.
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and present financial information to non-financial persons and consider business implications.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Desirable - Acquisition Accounting / M&A experience
